Face Shield by TXRX Labs

Background: This design is inspired by a design that originated from a Mechatronics Engineer in Nuevo León, Mexico by the name of Gizéh Adrián Triana Cárdenas (https://grabcad.com/library/coronavirus-flu-reusable-mask-1) and was picked up and further modified by Prusa Research in the Czech Republic (https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/25857-prusa-protective-face-shield-rc2). The Prusa version is being produced for the Czech Ministry of Health. This further modified version, by TXRX Labs in Houston, TX, is being produced by TXRX and a network of volunteer printers around Houston for Memorial Hermann and other hospitals in the Texas Medical Center.

TXRX_C19_Shield_Upper_rev2_pads.stl is the model file for the upper "headgear" part of the shield. It is designed to be printed in PLA at 0.2mm layer height for speed and ease of printing with no support material. The thin sections of this part are intended to be two extrusion widths wide.
