I don’t know about you, but whenever I have a pen in my hand, I can’t resist clicking it—so I designed this: the Fidget Pen. This is a compact, keychain-ready, non-functional pen designed purely for fidgeting. It looks like a mini pen but doesn’t write. Instead, it features a satisfying click mechanism, so you can click away as much as you like. If you’re printing without the provided profile, I highly recommend using a fine layer height to capture the small details of the mechanism. For best performance, apply a bit of lubricant to the button and cam before assembly—running it dry may cause it to jam. Assembly requires one small spring (I used one from a maker’s beginner kit). To assemble, insert the lubricated button into the barrel and gently shake or jostle it until it slides fully into place (as shown in the images). Repeat the process for the cam. You may need to apply a bit of pressure (simulating the spring) to get the grooves properly aligned and the mechanism seated correctly
