Firefly adapters

The adapters make the Kidwind Firefly more versitile. They couple short wind turbine blades to the Firefly generator. These short blades can be a proof of performance for the Kidwind competition or as a learning activity.
Turbine blades made with Whitebox software a can be 3D printed and performance tested using the Kidwind Firefly. High performing 150 t0 200 mm Whitebox turbine blades can be designed and virtually tested. The blades can 3 D printed quickly, 30 minutes per blade, then tested using the Firefly to confirm performance. A good design can be scaled up for entry in the Kidwind competition.
