This is a modification of Lee Bussy Mating Nuc model with a couple major changes. Allows for 5 frames using Medium Wax foundation, no syrup chamber, improved airflow using slats instead of holes set at 2mm intervals. This print is using K1SE with speed setting modifications set to much higher than the default. I would recommend identifying what works best for your machine. I do not use supports on any of my prints, however, that may not work for your printer if not calibrated. This was printed in Hyper PLA at a cost of 11$ per Mating Nuc or 1125grams of filament. This may be higher for you as I purchase large quantities of filament at a time. For my set up, I do not use an inner cover print. I use a piece of canvas and works well. For feeding, I drilled a 3/4 in hole for Soda Bottle and can feed that way. Am looking at creating a Lid with a feeder hole and a Plug. All of my Nucs get 2-3 coats of Krylon Plastic Spray and 1 coat of UV Clear. In the Original design, the same coating is expected to extend the longevity to grater than 5 years. Enjoy.
