Flagpole Retainer Ring

I made this for my flagpole which has 5 sections. It tapers from 3 inches at the base to 2 inches at the top.
The inner diameter of the retainer ring is 3". The retainer ring can be carefully spread apart to fit around the 3" section of the pole. There you can attach it to the base of the flag with a carabiner clip. You will have to slide the retainer ring up to the next pole section before raising the flag with the rope.
