FlowStencil is a simple project I designed to make drawing flowcharts, diagrams, and conceptual maps both orderly and precise, but most importantly, fast. A flowchart is a diagram that represents the steps of an algorithm in an organized manner, using various shapes. The oval represents the start and end points of the algorithm. The rectangle is used for processing or calculation steps. The trapezoid represents Input/Output operations. The rhombus symbolizes a decision point that can lead to either a true or false branch. In this stencil, I’ve also included additional shapes to enhance the visual aesthetics of the maps, such as: A circle to connect two branches. A triangle for drawing arrow tips. A special shape that, when aligned with the stencil’s edge (or with a ruler), helps create extended selection operators. The original model is designed to print a stencil about the size of a credit card, perfect for creating compact diagrams. However, it can easily be scaled for larger designs. The main differences between the V1 and V2 models are the size of the final product and the repositioning of the triangular shape (which previously required rotating the stencil to draw).
