I printed the "Wanhao Duplicator I3 Z brace with adjustable feet" and I liked the design however I did not like using the plastic feet because it used plastic threads. I wanted to use metal on metal threads because of the obvious advantages of strength and quality.
I wanted to be able to use the same pieces from the "Wanhao Duplicator I3 Z brace with adjustable feet" So I designed a replacement foot that fits a 3/8ths inch bolt.
The feet fit quite snugly to the bolt
Additionally, I chose to use fine thread nuts and bolts for the feet because I think it would help with making more precise adjustements however coarse threads will work too.
