Frostopus

Story:Beneath the waves of the Sweet Sea, Frostopus twirls and swims with frosting trailing behind like seafoam. Its head is lovingly crowned in pastel icing and rainbow sprinkles—making it the most delicious-looking creature in the ocean. But don’t be fooled—it’s more interested in cuddles than causing cavities. Motivation:I wanted to create something playful and clean that blends food and creature design in a soft, fun way. The contrast between the smooth tentacles and textured, glazed topping made this a great opportunity to explore layering in Nomad Sculpt while keeping a strong silhouette. Sculpting in Nomad:I started with a rounded body and gave it slightly exaggerated, cartoon-style tentacles curled underneath for stability. I sculpted a raised frosting swirl on the head using the clay and move tools, then layered sprinkle blobs and scattered them by hand for variety.
