If you carry your Yaesu FT5D in a soft pouch you may find that a slight bump to the buttons or touch screen on the radio face may accidentally change the settings. (you can also disable the buttons and touch screen, if you desire). This thin plastic protector goes inside your radio soft pouch and protects the buttons or touch screen from accidentally being changed.
