Yaesu FT5 Battery Insert

This battery insert is designed to replace a battery. It protects the battery contacts inside the Yaesu FT5 Radio (when not in use) and the cover prevents parasitic draw on the battery when the battery is installed in the radio. The tabs with holes on the side of the cover allow you to install a small lanyard. A Lanyard may help you retrieve the battery insert from a bag or backpack. I added my call sign (KD8BXY) to one and that is shown in the pics, but not in the STL file. You can add your own call sign.

This battery cover will nest with the Yaesu FT-5DR battery cover I designed too.
