These five sample plates allow you to quickly compare the different Fuzzy Skin patterns and parameters to determine the best settings for your own designs. The square plates are pretty thin, making them easy to stack while taking up very little storage space. To prevent them from tipping over, each plate includes two support feet on the back. Their attachment points are intentionally tiny, allowing them to break away cleanly and easily after printing. Each plate showcases one of the five Fuzzy Skin patterns. The sample grid blocks vary in pattern scale and thickness, allowing you to compare different settings at a glance. All variable values and constant settings are listed on the back in more detail. A little hole allows the plates to be bundled together. The photos show a slightly older version before I made some changes to the text labels. SLICER The download includes two 3MF files with identical 3D geometry. One was created in Bambu Studio, the other one in OrcaSlicer. With a compatible slicer, you can easily change the Fuzzy parameters for each individual block by selecting it from the object list. All text labels are also editable. Alternatively you can use the blank STL for different slicers or other types of tests. SPECS ― Dimensions: 160 x 160 x 3 mm (up to 3.6 mm including patterns) ― Fuzzy Skin types: Classic, Perlin, Billow, Ridged and Voronoi PRINTING NOTES ― Filament: PLA with matte surface recommended ― Bed adhesion: A well cleaned textured PEI plate is usually fine without a brim.
