Gear Clock

Since i only found laser cut versions of this kind of clock, i decided to give it a shot and design my own version of it. It features a black background in the top portion, since i really liked my numbers to be white, but they became kind of invisible on the wall. If you dont want this, simply print the clock without the wall bracket and mount the clockwork directly to the wall.

The clock has kind of a large footprint and is designed to be printed on a CR-10 or printers similar in size.

Everything can be put together without glue, except for the clockwork, which has to be glued into the wall bracket.

The design uses a standard clockwork which i borrowed of an old wall clock and should work with most clockworks available, even though you might need to adjust the wall bracket as well as the hole in the small gear. I also removed one gear inside so the shaft that sets the hours spins freely. This helps to hold the small gear in place and to give it more stability.
