This beautiful design sports 5 large gears and a small drive gear that turn hypnotically along with the handle.I found that the Gearbox is very strong and capable of rough use after inevitably dropping it a few times.The outside of the Large Gears contains 90 teeth and the inside 30 teeth, thus having a 3:1 ratio on each gear. I calculated that for every one time the drive gear turns, the last gear turns 81 times.Turning the handle around just five times results in the last gear being spun a total of 405 times..I also made fully 3d printable Rods and Threaded Knobs to adjust the tension as needed on the Gearbox.The stand has an optional second version for being mounted with screws on a table, in which case you'll need 6 screws : 3.5mm diameter and at least 12mm in length.The Gears have four different variations to choose from, with the color schemes having endless possibilities.The only extra parts you'll need is 5 Standard Ball Bearings :Thickness - 7mmOutside Diameter - 22mmInside Diameter - 8mmHere's a video showing the assembly :https://vimeo.com/846571596?share=copyAs always every like, follower and tip is much appreciated.You can also contact me via Email for custom designs and business inquiries - [email protected]
