This is a spectrogram of the gravity wave created by the collision of two black holes and detected by the LIGO detector in Hanford WA during event GW150914 on 14 Sept 2015. The big peak shows the "ringdown" increase in intensity of the high-frequency components as the black holes spiral together faster and faster. From https://losc.ligo.org/events/GW150914/
