#### Gyroid Patch in a Cube
This is another design in our effort to bring the beauty of the gyroid to K-12 students. A gyroid patch , generated using CalcPlot3D, is imported into a cube for easy alignment toward a gyroid unit. It takes 8 copies of the same cube-patch to assemble a gyroid cell. The small versions could be printed without support while the large versions do need support and perhaps a raft for easy printing. The cubes can be glued together if so desired. It functions like a puzzle, involving quite a bit of spatial gymnastics! Have fun!
