Inspired by [adafruit](https://learn.adafruit.com/heat-set-rig) I made a variant from some scrap materials I had laying around.
The rods are 12x250mm and compression fit into the base. LM12UU bearings are used in the holder and also compression fit using a bench vise. A switchable magnetic base allows to secure it to a steel surface.
The opening for the soldering iron is slightly tapered to follow for an even grip on the rubber handle.
