What if during the E/M War, the Aft lasers finally got the credit they deserve? I mean, they carried over into the Omega Class. The Minbari were using lasers, and I am going out on a limb, but I assuming the lasers were Narn tech? So I asked myself, what if the Nova Dreadnought was to be superseded by new class Battleship? What would this combination look like and what kind of greater capabilities would a ship like this have?
Well their smaller, less crewed and have a greater firing distance effective range by using the Pulse Laser weapons. Also I thought, well for the element of surprise, coming from my previous design, the Mercy Ship, that would give E.F. The element of surprise. Well, at least for a little while, but long term, confusion. It takes about 5 seconds for a person to recognize a shillouette and push a button. Then count in conversation from the operator (on the Minbari side) and by then, the Hephaestus Battleship can have a weapons lock, or turn
