The larger size fills the palm like a stress ball, while the smaller version is easy to roll or spin with one hand. The geometry also makes it visually appealing on a desk. Original PurposeIn an aquarium sump, the structure provides high surface area for beneficial bacteria and small hiding spaces for pods.
