Horizon zero down

You can print a two-color model as large as possible to fit on your desk. Or you can print 5 parts in one color and glue a large model together. In this case you won't have a background, but you will get a model with lots of small parts. I recommend to glue the parts of the model with cyanoacrylate glue. Gluing is best done on glass. So that later you can use a spatula to separate the model from the glass in those places where the glue leaks.
