Two 7mm diameter motors were used. The steering motor is attached to a microservo which is pressfit into the base. An arduino yun attaches to the 4 base stands and controlled via wifi. The yun runs a python udp server that sends packet info to the arduino via the bridge. The controller program was written in C++. If curious about more of the details message me.
