Inverted door switch, like the one you can see in Fridge.
I have used it to automatically turn on the lights in my wardrobe. Print have holes for wires, and require additional soldering on top of the printed parts:
- Glue conductive element on top of the piston jacket
- Solder output wire to conductive element
- Solder second wire to conductive element in a piston (I used my Girlfriend Hairpin)
- Add a spring (I used ball-pen spring) inside the piston Jacket
- Connect Base with Piston Jacket
- Insert Piston into a spring-loaded Jacket
- Put in conductive element (Hairpin part in my case) into a piston pre-made holes to secure Piston inside the jacket so it will create a stopper that will close the circuit
And this is it, you are ready to use it as an inverted button in a project of your choice. You can use Base 90 degree angle to screw it into your door or a closet. (Please let me know in a comment section if you want to have straight mount option instead of corner mount)
