Fed up with with split or frayed iPhone/iPad cables?

Then you need this Thing!

I thought using electrical tape might work and it did. For a while. Then the adhesive somehow reacts with the rubber and it loses its adhesion... it also reacts with the cable sheath making it swell and soften.

After I printed this Thing, used a scalpel to remove the affected sheath of the cable then used super glue to encase it in the two halves.

I can't see this cable splitting or fraying anytime soon! :-)
