Jamz

I am an admitted newbie to design even after 3+ years. My design skill are slowly taking shape but I have a long way to go. The thing file shown here does not work. Its just an example of an idea I have.

I'm hoping one of you brilliant designers / tinkerer's can design what I'm calling a "Jamz" a jamz can be anything that can be deployed in seconds to jam a door in schools or offices buildings in the event of an active shooter. This thing could provide precious time and possibly save a life.

My first thought was a simple wooden wedge which I still think is a viable idea but if a printed object like an letter shaped like a wedge could be attached to a backpack or keyring it could provide the same security as a wooden wedge and could be up on Thingiverse tomorrow and every maker out there could have one printed for every member of their family.

I know this isn’t the answer but until we can address this heinous problem, it may help save a life.
