K2 Plus CFS Riser

I really liked the look of this design and wanted something simple to get my CFS off the glass. The only hardware needed are the four screws (4mm x 25mm)that came with the K2 Plus + CFS combo (they were originally used to secure the CFS during shipping).Because I had already added a glass riser, it wasn’t quite as straightforward as just printing the original design. To make it work, I made a few tweaks:Raised the height: I extended the section that makes contact with the K2 Plus so the stand sits taller.Extended the hexagon pattern: Carried the design into the new area for a cleaner, consistent look.Slimmed down the leg: Made it slightly thinner so it wouldn’t interfere with the glass riser.I printed the model in ASA, and I’m really pleased with how it turned out. I chose ASA over PLA because the outer casing of the K2 Plus can get quite hot during long prints, and I was worried PLA might warp at the contact points. ASA has held up perfectly so far.It is worth noting that you might need slightly longer ptfe tube or a longer power/data cable. I think that the short stock ptfe tube, or short 90 degree angled data/power cable was slightly too short with the buffer screwed to the back of the K2 Plus, but it you can also try the buffer screwed in to the back of the cfs.For anyone interested, the glass riser I’m using is available here:👉 https://www.crealitycloud.com/model-detail/6820ce3cc8d47691eed98f44?source=46
