I wanted a way to measure the height under my cupboards to cut a kick panel to fit.The tiles were not even so wanted to find out the minimum gap so I could cut the kick panel to that minimum size.I did try using some spring calipers but that was fidly to adjust and if you didn't hold them perfectly straight the measurement would be out, it was also slow to adjust them. So I set about making a 3D design in fusion 360 to create an adjustable ruler/measuring tool, that would fit under the kick panel and close as you run it along the floor when the height decreased, thus giving me the smallest height. I didn't want to cut the kickpanel at an angle, nor did I want to cut out a varying height. The result was the ruled design posted here. Parts required:Any M4 Machine Screw with thread body length 8mm
