Layer Height Chart I’m still relatively new to 3D print designing, and I guess a little slow. As it took me a while to realize if I design something 2 mm thick vertically, and then print at .16-layer height, that doesn’t add to even math for the slicer and it will round up or down, leaving a gap of .08. That’s not that significant, but this might create issues with tolerance or even support adhesion. So better to be exact. Since printing layer height should be considered in design creation, I created this chart to help me quickly determine model part thickness to match up with my intended printing layer height. Yes, it’s generally multiples of .04, but math is hard. Chart covers .08 to .28, up to 25 layers. It's an 1hr 35m print on P1S at .16 using 41g of filament. Color change at layer 10. Hope this chart helps you!
