This case is designed for field trips. You can wrap a rope around the perimeter of the case and that's why it was designed with a slope. You can also put an O-Ring on the thread and its diameter must be 1mm, this will provide greater water tightness, also recommend sealing oil (Vaseline) on the O-Ring.
There are holes to pass a rope, the diameter is 3mm.
