Liquid 3D Printer was created because of the need for a good quality printer that is reasonably priced. It has a new design with a rigid cube structure and a semi-enclosed chamber. It is fast and offers accurate prints thanks to CoreXY kinematics. The printer uses open-source hardware and high-quality components. With the contribution of the community, it can be continuously improved. More details of the printer can be found at https://liquid-printer.github.io/liquid-website/ Another way to find this printer: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4601931 Youtube video : https://youtu.be/gsDXcT9F2Ak ASSEMBLY To assemble the printer, the CAD model can be used as a starting guide. It has a medium difficulty and needs a user with a background in mechanics and/or 3D printers. It is not recommended for beginners. FEATURES Semi-enclosed chamber using plexiglass panels; Precise and fast CoreXY Kinematics; Rigid structure with aluminium profiles and sheets; Duet WiFi controller with remote printing and control; Powerful BMG Dual-Drive Extruder with 3:1 gear ratio; Laser filament sensor for detecting runout and jamming; Magnetic removable heated build plates with PEI surface; Volcano hotend for high flow and faster printing speeds; Silent using Trinamic motor drivers and silent fans; 200 mm3 build volume for printing; Auto bed leveling in 9 points using inductive sensor/bltouch; Power failure resume option for recovering prints. PRINT SETTINGS The suggested print settings are: 0.2 resolution, 1.2mm thick walls, 20% infill, supports are only needed for a few parts, PETG/ABS filament and the color can be selected accordingly to the selected variant. Post processing is needed to clean the parts. AUTHORS Serban CHISCA and Alexandru GRIGORAS LICENSE The project is open-source, licensed under CC BY-NC 4.0.
