Low wind - Wind turbine

This an optimized wind turbine design, built from the ground up to improve print quality, structural strength, and ease of assembly. Every component has been optimized for reliable FDM printing and smooth operation outdoors. This turbine does not generate electricity, it is for visual appeal only. Blade Design (Fusion‑Modelled, Airfoil‑Accurate) The blades are fully modelled in Fusion using the S1223 airfoil, chosen for its excellent low‑wind performance. I further refined the geometry specifically for this turbine, including: Pre-configured angle of attack for easy assembly 20° blade twist, which testing showed to be the best performer for this rotor size Large 280 mm blade length for strong visual presence and improved torque 80 mm root and 20 mm tip (before rounding), giving a clean taper and efficient aerodynamic profile The result is a lightweight, responsive blade set that spins easily even in gentle breezes. Bearing System (3 × 608) The turbine uses three standard 608 bearings:
