Lowrance Hook Hook2 7" Chartplotter Mount

Custom mount for a Lowrance Hook2 7" fishfinder. This mount is heavy duty and designed to be mounted into a large hole. I designed this for a Maxum 2400 SE that already had a large circular hole cut into the top of the dashboard. It had an obsolete factory-installed JBL stereo remote control mounted into the hole but since the stereo head unit had been replaced with another brand the remote control was serving no purpose. This mount will drop into the same hole used by that remote control and keeps the depth finder out of the way but close enough to use and view.

Be sure to use stainless steel screens, locknuts, and washers (Ace hardware has the right sizes) for mounting the right & left brackets to the arm. Use a very large bolt with large washers for the center hole that pulls the arm, plate, and mount tight together against the dashboard. I recommend using the biggest diameter (3/8" +) bolt you can find that fits into the hole, and it will need to be about 3" long.
