This model consists of an adenosine molecule and three phosphate molecules with embedded magnets. The magnets that should be used for this model are circular 5x3mm. A total of 14 of these magnets will be needed to complete one adenosine and three phosphates.

Use superglue to affix magnets into the indentations on the molecules. The magnets should be oriented in the adenosine and right-hand side of the phosphate molecules (using the 'Adenosine' name and 'P' labels to orient the molecules) so that these molecules are attracted together. The magnets embedded in the left-hand side of the phosphates should be in the same orientation as the magnets in the adenosine, so that phosphates will attach to other phosphates just like they attach to the adenosine. This allows for modeling of the removal and attachment of phosphate groups in the conversion of ATP to ADP, and from ADP to ATP.
