The textured surface, resembling tiny scales or feathers, makes it unique and visually appealing.- Key design points:- Kawaii-inspired style: big eyes and round body for maximum cuteness.- Bright, iridescent colors: emphasizing its Martian background.- 3D print-friendly modeling: optimized to minimize supports and failures.🎯 PurposeMartoPuff can be used as:- A collectible figure for 3D printing enthusiasts.- A decorative toy for desks, shelves, or creative spaces.- A test prototype for experimenting with different materials, textures, and finishes using the Creality K1.- A mascot character for storytelling or small gaming projects.👾🛠️Printing Experience –Printing MartoPuff on the Creality K1 was a really fun experience, especially since each part of the model is printed separately. I started with the body, using a silk multicolor PLA to highlight the “puffy” texture and alien-like reflections. Watching the color gradient shift during printing was mesmerizing.Next came the ears and feet, which I printed in purple and shiny red PLA: small, quick pieces, but they required careful cooling to keep the shapes crisp. For the eyes, I used glossy black PLA with white inserts, and the K1’s precision really shined here.The best part came at the end with the assembly: snapping all the pieces together and seeing MartoPuff come to life was incredibly satisfying. In total, between the body and accessories, the print took about 3 hours. The final result?
