Mask Pleater V2

This is version 2 of my pleating tool. This one works much better and has mechanical hinges. The print settings are very important on this one, you need to make sure you choose the option of printing outer walls before inner walls in cura, or you use a fine nozzle. I used a .4MM nozzle with cura and it worked great.

After this is printed you can bend and snap free the hinges like shown in the pictures. It's easier to use than the other one, just start from the bottom most hinge, fold the material around the hinge, then bend it forward and down to hold the material in place as you gather the material around the next hinge up, and so on until all three are done. After that you can put a piece of packing tape longways to hold them in place while you sew the edges.
