This is an idea I had for printing a Matrix Code (or Alien Code, very similar) lamp using LED Lights to show and cast The Matrix Code/Rain. I used PLA, but you can use PETG if you want. The lamp is printed in three(3) parts. The body of the lamp takes about 24 hours on normal print settings and the top an the bottom ends take about 4 hours a piece. You need to use 1" PVC Pipe to wrap MONSTER LED Light Strip ($5 as of the time of this writing, for 6.5 feet at Walmart) around. I used hot glue (Gun) for the assembly, and glues the light "Pole" to the lamp base before glu-ing the body of the lamp and top together. Its about $10 to fabricate in all, and looks pretty cool!!!! The design can definitely be improved on, as for some reason I cannot get the body perfectly square (a perfect square setting with dimensions of (90mm x 89mm) with the top and bottom (using TinkerCAD). Its very close and nothing will throw of the AWESOME ascetics. Enjoy the Print and any questions let me know.
