Meteorite pencil holder

My project is a model of a meteorite that is designed to hold a pencil or a pen. I always lose my pens and pencils, so I thought designing something to hold them would help me be more organized. I also wanted the design to be cool so instead of just making a box it can be a little decoration for your desk. Some issues I had was trying to figure out if I could make the fire on the meteorite transparent after I exported the file. If I could redesign this I think I would maybe added more detail or made it a little less long. I think 3d printing would help strengthen the design by seeing the flaws that it has and will help me with knowing what I have to change in order to make my design the best it can be.
