These 3D printable parts are components of a microscope-controlled illumination device. The diffusion filter rings are covered by diffusion filter paper and fixed to the diffusion filter cage by M2 x 6mm screws. The diffusion filter cage has 2mm holes with 4.5mm spacing that can be taped by the M2 screws on the vertical cage posts allowing the user to customize the number of filters and their spacing between the light source and sample. The diffusion filter rings have corresponding screw holes that allow them to be fixed to the vertical cage posts. After assembling the cage, it is inserted and fixed to the illumination device's shade. These components are part of a device that will be described in an academic journal publication.
