Mini 3D Scanner

Disclaimer: This is definitely a work in progress design. I am not sure how well it is going to come together for you. I would love feedback and will work hard to update the models. I will post all the steps once I am finished.

I set out to build a nice little 3D room scanner all in one with good wiring and nice looking cad. This little guy should be able to map out a room out to 5m in radius from the sensor and the whole unit should cost less than 40$ to put together.

The lack of a pre-designed slip rings will limit the use cases for this model. I highly suggest integrating an aux cable for a good cheap way to do cable routing but it won't work for the camera on backside. Right now, I just make sure to never spin the little guy more than 360 degrees one way or the other.
