As I wasn't happy with the print quality of my Wanhao duplicator I3 I started searching what could be wrong.
After changing and adjusting all the mechanical stuff I still got strange lines in my Benchy.
The picture of my benchy here is a picture before the mechanical adjustments, but you can clearly see the problem on the cabinet of the benchy. (diagonal lines)
The more you dial your printer in the more it get's pronounced.
So I made a drawing in onshape 2 sides are parallel to X or Y while the other are not.
The printer does not print those lines smoothly, because of missing microsteps.
If you print this and you have also those weird lines in the print, you could also suffer from missing microsteps.
