MK2 Spool Holder Extension

**Updated** - (taking work in progress off of this) Now has better tolerances. You should probably still use a little bit of grease if it is too snug -- or maybe print with slightly lower extrusion multiplier.


This isn't a stand alone print -- it requires that you have already printed the Spool Holder by jterranella.

I printed the excellent spool holder, Remixed Prusa MK2 Threaded Bearing Spool holder w/filament guide by jterranella http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2184790 . The only problem with it was I had spools which were too wide to fit. I decided to piece together a the threads from the nut and the bolt into an extension in Tinkercad (https://tinkercad.com/things/409aEgTd5UK) to solve my problem. With this I can use it as is for normal size rolls or add this when i am using a wide roll. I wouldn't recommend using this adapter to put overweight rolls (bigger than 1KG) on the holder because the plastic holding the holder to the printer might give with too much weig
