Modular Arithmetic

In this activity students first learn about modular arithmetic. They will first discover what the possible remainders of a whole number look like and then create a 3D model of a clock with the remainders of a chosen number value. Using this model students will work through some problems finding remainders and then be introduced to the a≡b (mod n) notation.
