Modular Hinge

I stripped away some of the architecture of the previous hinge so this prints faster and still in one piece. I decided that rather than print my final project in one piece i needed to make it modular so that if a single print fails the whole thing isn't kaput.

The project i am working on would have been a 3-4 day print easy - and with the threat of weather related power outages, filament chokes, mechanical failure etc i can't take that chance. So after some back and forth i settled on tbusers pins - http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:10541 - made some connecting points and did a quick test print to verify it would work before printing this one.

My goal is to connect multiple surfaces to multiple hinges over the next week for a deadline in 7 days time and enter it in an art exhibition / call for works here in Chicago.
