This part is an effort to make infinitely combine-able holders for standard 1kg filament spools, whether they be in boxes or open rolls. The supporting feet have holes for small screws if you'd like to fasten them to your desk. They also fit into slots of adjacent spool holders, allowing them to sit flush while also supporting adjacent units.
On the top of the holder are small pegs that can fit into holes on the bottom, allowing you to stack these units vertically as well as horizontally.
In the interior cavity you will see two sections on either side that curve towards the middle, keeping bare spools from rolling out as they would on a flat surface. The middle portion has a depression with room for silica desiccant beads/packets.
While printing I suggest doing so in the same orientation as when it will be in use. The overhangs are shallow enough that I have had no problems using no supports (including brims, skirts, or rafts).
