The Monoscope array is a monolithic telescope. A type of telescope that has a single, solid piece of material used for both the aperture, primary mirror, secondary mirror, eye peice and the telescope's structure. This is in contrast to traditional telescopes which typically have separate pieces for the mirrors and structure. The advantage of a monolithic telescope is that it can be made with extremely high precision and is less susceptible to deformations caused by changes in temperature or gravitational forces. This allows for better image quality and stability over time. - -- --- ----- ------- ----------- ------------- https://www.mdpi.com/1424-8220/18/4/977/htm Multi-Aperture-Based Probabilistic Noise Reduction of Random Telegraph Signal Noise and Photon Shot Noise in Semi-Photon-Counting Complementary-Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Image Sensor
