Mouse-Ear Straw Topper

My daughter's 2nd grade class had a themed end of school year party, and she was tasked with bringing plates and straws. Themed plates were easy to find, straws were not. She asked for this design for the kids in her class. I started with generic mouse ears, but added in a bow and also initials for all the kids in class. This version is designed for dollar store sizes straws (0.5cm diameter), similar to ones are used in non-fast food restaurants.
