This is a multi cyclone designed for fine particles. Could be used like a second stage filter.
Beware: It is not meant for powerful shop vacs. Go easy on the pressure so it doesn't implode.
In the making of this I did a lot of reading-up on the function and math involved in these. The design parameters are by no means randomly selected. The result is an efficient and easy to print cyclone.
In order to separate all the fine particles out, high speed and low travel distance is needed. Achieving this combined with high volume throughput resulted in a setup with multiple combined cyclones.
The nozzles are designed to standard vac hoses. You properly need to support the hoses to avoid breaking the print.
This multi cyclone is designed to be printed with no support.
File of the blobs and seams to have a successful marriage between the cyclones and manifold.
You may want to break off one "tooth" on the nozzle to be mounted on the outlet manifold to have a good fit. I kept
