Mute Keycap

Mute Keycap - Keycap that is compatible with cherry MX switches on mechanical keyboards. Used as a hotkey to mute microphone. If you use a Corsair RGB keyboard, you can have the lighting effects in iCue toggle the color of the light coming through the keycap to visually indicate when the mic is muted. No supports were used to print this keycap since there is not a large contact area with the build plate and clear resin was used to allow the lighting to come through. To finalize this keycap I used a strip of masking tape in the area to remain lit. I then spray painted the key white and then black and coated it in clear epoxy resin. A few coats of paint were necessary to keep the light from coming through the black parts of the keycap surface.
