Borrowed a 3D printer for two weeks from a friend to see if I really want one.
I printed some things here and there but nothing functional.
I gave it back... and then the justices started flowing.
Looked up some hyper cubes and saw the price...
Eww..
Way over priced.
Instead of just taking an STL and printing it, I thought it would be better to make one from the ground up to fit 10mm LED lights.
For this project I’ll be using the following
LIGHTS:
WS2812B/WS2813
If you’re soldering skills are on point use 144/m strips.
If not, you’ll be better off using 60/m
CONTROLLER:
Wemos D1 Mini
I’ll be paring this up with Dig Uno as it will contain a logic level shifter and several other safety features.
If you don’t want to to use a Dig Uno I’ll show you how to add some of the safety features with other bits and bobs.
I’ll add details on this later
CUBE:
I’ve included the stl files for the cube and the little cover/shelf for the led lights.
POWER:
5v 8amps .
