Neuron cell model without sheath

This neuron cell model was printed for a psychology professor at McHenry County College who wanted a tactile model she could give to a blind student.

The final model is about 9 inches long, the maximum size I could print in the Makerbot Replicator 5th generation printer. It had to be this big because of the small diameter of some of the parts.

She wanted it left on the supports for easier transport in a backpack.
