A special type of a »Nutcracker« , made in two parts of anodized die casted zinc or aluminium, one washer (spring steel), one rivet (brass) and two seperate grip inserts (soft rubber). The advantage of this design: The nuts can be placed into an egg-shaped and/or oval deepening of the base part, before starting the cracking process. Two different sizes for inserting walnuts and/ or hazelnuts are given. The cracked nutshell can fall into the egg-shaped and/ or oval deepening of the base part and not anywhere on the table or in your hand. After opening the lever, you can remove hopefully the completly cracked nut(s) and dispose easily the nutshell(s) by rotating the complete nutcracker over its longitudinal axis. I think, this model has a big chance for an improvement in any way, because it is a safety concept to avoid injuries of fingers, as clamping is nearly impossible. I look forward to your comments and hope you like this model. Available data: STEP-file of the complete assembly (.asm)- respective (.prt)-files in the zipped folder, for users of »PTC Creo Parametric 2.0«
