This replaces the standard bracket found here and allows for offset rather than flush Multiboard “mounting” This way you aren't prevented from using all the Multiboard accessories that aren't compatible with flush mounting (i.e. peg board, etc.) and you could run wires or PTFE behind it. I would recommend using an Adhesive mount at the bottom (either command strip or VHB Tape) to prevent the board from moving around when placing/removing tools or whatever from it.
